EL AS DE ESPADAS. EL AS DE BASTOS. EL SIETE DE ESPADAS. EL SIETE DE OROS. Estas cuatro (4) cartas son las llamadas BRAVAS.

In English: THE ANCHO DE ESPADAS. THE ANCHO DE BASTOS. THE SIETE DE ESPADAS. THE SIETE DE OROS. These four (4) cards are called the BRAVAS.

A estas le siguen por orden: LOS TRES, LOS DOS, LOS ASES “FALSOS” (ases de copa y oro) LOS REYES, LOS CABALLOS, LAS SOTAS, LOS SIETE “FALSOS” (siete de basto y siete de copa) LOS SEIS, LOS CINCO y por último LOS CUATRO.

In English: These are followed in order by: THE THREES, THE TWOS, THE “FALSE” ACES (aces of copas and oros), THE KINGS, THE KNIGHTS, THE JACKS, THE “FALSE” SEVENS (seven of bastos and seven of copas), THE SIXES, THE FIVES and lastly THE FOURS.
