The most drawn numbers, put to the test

We count how many times each ending came up from 00 to 99 in the draws of the last few months, and we put it next to a draw made up by the computer, with the same number of extractos.

The count

Is it more uneven than chance?

That's what the chi-square test is for: it compares what came up with what you would expect (the same number of times for each ending) and tells you how often pure chance produces a mess like this or bigger. If that number is high, there is nothing odd going on.

The odds

1 in 100, always

The ending that came up the most and the one that came up the least have the same chance in the next draw: 1 in 100 on the cabeza. The balls don't remember.

Where they come from

How we build each extracto

  • We read the official results from La Quiniela de la Ciudad (LOTBA), which publishes the extractos for Ciudad, Provincia, Córdoba, Santa Fe, Entre Ríos and Mendoza on the same page.
  • We compare them with the official extracto of the Provincia de Buenos Aires (IPLyC), which has Provincia, Ciudad, Córdoba, Santa Fe and Entre Ríos for the same draw. If the two copies match digit by digit, the draw gets the 2 sources mark; if they differ by even one digit, we don't show it.
  • We check every 15 minutes from our server. If a source doesn't respond, the last good copy stays; if more than 3 hours pass without being able to check, the page says so and doesn't show the day as if it were up to date.
  • The copy is for information only. To collect a prize, the official extracto at your licensed lottery shop is what counts.
